What's the difference between latex foam and memory foam?

Latex is a milky white liquid which is extracted from the rubber tree, Hevea brasiliensis. This is obtained by tapping into the bark and collecting the resin. This milky white sap contains small rubber particles dispersed in water.
A small sloping cut is made to remove a strip of bark, severing the latex vessels which have formed within the bark. The latex, containing about 30% of dry rubber, flows into a collection cup attached to the tree. Tapping is carried our early in the morning, and the latex is collected when the follow has ceased after about 4 or 5 hours.
It takes one week of daily harvesting from 30 rubber trees to produce enough latex for just one gorgeously soft and supportive pillow.
Yes. Many (most) contoured pillows have in our opinion got it wrong! The contours are poorly thought out, and only allow for the smaller percentage of folk with long necks. The curved area under the neck needs to be quite short in order to allow your head to comfortably reach the shallow area. This not only ensures the natural alignment of the spine, but also avoids 'ear crush' which is a common problem with most contoured pillows, as well as traditional pillows of course.
Medium: 13 cm (5.3") high side, 12 cm (4.7") low side.
Suits side sleeping position for average physique and for those who like a higher pillow.
Low: 11.5 cm (4.5") high side, 10 cm (4") low side.
For those preferring a lower pillow, and for back sleepers, and for children around 8 years and up.
Yes. The unique properties of latex foam allow your body to adjust no matter whether you are sleeping in the side, back, or front position.
The Naturelle contoured latex foam pillow will encourage your spine’s natural alignment.
Latex is natural and memory foam is synthetic; memory foam is temperature sensitive, while latex foam is not; lastly memory foam is denser (heavier) than latex foam.
